Client Type: Established handmade seller
What They Needed: Trina had reached the point where her sales volume meant she didn't have time to post to social media to maintain and grow her business. Trina knew she needed help, but was nervous about having someone else take over.
What I Did: I spent a lot of time looking at Trina's existing content and working out what resonated well with her audience. I then created a social media plan, reusing existing photographs and reels where I could. All of this was sent to Trina to check that she was happy that it mimicked the tone and style she usually used. I then scheduled everything for the next month.
Result: I saved Trina around 15 hours of work, and removed the pressure from her of having to constantly post and manage her social media platforms. Trina used this time to work on her upcoming new product launch.
As a result, Trina's social media audience grew that month, and she received several commission enquiries from her new audience members.
Client Type: A new seller with limited experience
What They Needed: Sam had a great range of products and had set up an Etsy shop to try and sell them. Unfortunately, Sam's views were low, and she hadn't made any organic sales.
What I Did: Knowing how difficult it is to gain traction as a new seller, I created a detailed shop audit for Sam. I broke this down into immediate, short-term, and long-term priority tasks with detailed instructions for each. As Sam was new to the Etsy platform, I provided 1-2-1 support on how to make these technical changes when she struggled, including video demonstration calls.
Result: I gave Sam an easy-to-follow guide, which stopped her from feeling overwhelmed. Sam initially struggled with the technical aspects of making these changes, but with my guidance, she not only succeeded in making them but also became confident in using the Etsy Seller interface.
Sam finally got her first organic sale and is on the right path to making many more.
Client Type: An online seller with their own website
What They Needed: Jake had previously used a photographer to create his product photography, but this was no longer possible. Jake struggled to take his photographs and needed help improving the quality.
What I Did: With my many years of experience shooting and editing my own product photographs, I was able to use the majority of Jake's raw photos and edit them into usable ones. For the ones where this wasn't possible, I was able to instruct Jake on how to set up his photography area with lighting, composition, and (phone) camera settings to achieve better results.
Result: Jake received product listing photos that could be used on his website and also on social media. Jake also has a much better understanding of how to set up his workspace to achieve great photography results and the basics of photo editing. Jake feels confident in tackling this area himself going forward, and he knows he can reach out again for additional support.
